A working subgroup of COP members will be working to determine the most effective way of including Automated Control Functions into existing console graphics.
In this project we will explore existing graphical methods used to display advanced control, state-based control, and automated procedures. After evaluating the existing methods we will consider how to most effectively display the information for use in L1, L2 and L3 displays.
Display systems have evolved much over the past 20 years. Current designs include well thought out navigation with L1, L2, and L3 displays. These existing approaches were designed to support traditional display systems. However, more consideration is needed to support more specialized areas such as advanced control, state-based control, and automated procedures. In this project, we will explore existing methods used to support these additional topics.

- A description of how automated control functions should be supported in L1, L2, and L3 displays
- The output will be an extension to the data-to-information handbook
