Cognitive Task Analysis (CTA) can help an organization understand the tough decisions operators face, and the information they need to detect problems and make good decisions. While there are entire college courses and books to learn how to effectively conduct a CTA, this handbook was created specifically for COP member use to better understand how to determine the information console operators use to monitor and control the processes under their purview.
